Hydraulic fittings for the multilayer pipe

Hydraulic fittings manufactured in brass and available in nickel-plated version as well in order to withstand corrosion

Next to the generic hydraulic fittings in the GNALI BOCIA catalogue, available in various versions, from the yellow brass type to the nickel-plated one, we also find a range of fittings suitable for assembling systems with multilayer pipes.
This type of pipe, among the latest to be marketed, consists of three layers; the central one is a thin sheet of welded aluminium the purpose of which is to contain pressure. To connect this pipe, we must use specific hydraulic fittings.
The main part of these objects is the brass-manufactured body equipped with a hose onto which the pipe should be fitted. In order to ensure pressure tightness, there are O-rings made of peroxide for them to endure with time. To prevent turning movements (= untwisting), each hose of the hydraulic fittings for multilayer pipe is closed by a nut that tightens an ogive above the pipe, which prevents the slippage caused by the action of pressure.
The main advantage of this type of hydraulic fittings is their easy assembly: by resorting to two fixed keys and a tool for cutting the pipe, we may assemble a full system within a short time.
